A true mountain adventure, with a gentle approach through the valley floor before tackling nearly all the elevation gain in the final kilometers — ending at a mountain hut over 3,000 meters high.

Up close to the glaciers… right at the junction (as the name suggests) of Taconnaz and Les Bossons. A vertical ascent that’s a local classic — and it lives up to its reputation!

A varied route with some beautiful switchbacks on the way up and a slope that offers a few breathers (or opportunities to pick up the pace!). After crossing the stream, there are a few sections with cables, but nothing too technical before reaching the hut and soaking in the view.

A steep and technical climb, with a beautiful ascent along the moraine to reach the hut — and the foot of the glacier! The return follows the official hiking trail, offering a more gradual descent.
