Create a personalized profile

From each track's page, the    button allows you to download the default profile or to access customisation features



1. Organisation of the tabs

The profile customisation module has two parts:

  • on the left side: Access to predefined models and to different customisation tools
  • on the right side: visualisation of the profile and configuration of the blocs

The image down below allows you to visualise the different configuration tools and how it shows on the profile:


Show the grid: the position of certain content can be adjusted, such as the title. Position is given in pixels. By adding the grid, it shows references to help you choose the correct values.

Define the profile as default: by ticking the box, the profile will automatically become the default profile downloaded from the button on the track's page.


2. Using templates

4 templates are available by default in the tab "Templates". Click on the template of your choice and finetune its personnalisation or create your own profile from scratch!

 Profile with lines: if you use this template, a new field called "Filling with lines" will appear on the right side. There you can customise those lines: color, width, quantity, opacity.


3. Point of interest, labels, texts: which differences?

You can add content on the profile of three types

  • Points of interest they appear as icons above the profile. You can add up to 3 icons per point of interest, personnalise the axis (whether it goes down to the curves or to the bottom of the profile) and add text along the axis.

  • Labels they allow for adding text along the curve, in the form of free text. You can customise the text as well as the icon pointing towards the curve.

  • Text  You can add free text on your profile, wherever you want. Adjust the position in X and Y while using the grid. Personnalise the color and the orientation as well as the background color.


4. Display intermediate distances and elevation gain

You can display the intermediate distances between your points of interests. In order to do so:

  • In the tab "Intermediate distances" chose what you want to display: distance, elevation, divider

  • In the tab "Points of interest" Make sure to select the points you want by ticking "Use for intermediate distances"
5. A few tips

Copy / paste the style of the point of interest

  • Edit a point of interest (size, color, etc.), then click on copy the style.
  • Then open another point of interest and click on paste the style
  • the format of the first point will automatically be applied to the format of the second. You'll save precious time!
Subscribers only

 Add sections on your elevation profile

You can add sections to your elevation profile to identify particular sections. Examples: relay, type of sport, environmental protection zone, etc.

To add a section, in the Sections rubric, click + and customize your section. With the copy style/paste style tools, you can apply the formatting you've created to your different sections.
